Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system of diagnosis and treatment that evaluates the structural, chemical and mental stresses that are affecting the body by using manual muscle testing with other standard methods of diagnosis. Kinesiology is the study of motion – how your body moves, your posture, balance, strength and weakness. Whenever the body gets out of balance dysfunction occurs and symptoms will develop. Because every person is uniquely different our symptoms reflect this uniqueness and can be misleading. This is why it is important to discover and treat the underlying imbalances that are causing your symptoms. Treating your symptoms is a “one size fits all” approach that consists of prescribing the same drugs to everyone for the same diagnosis with limited results and dangerous side effects.
Dr. Phil and Dr. Rhonda Petsch are concerned with what is going on inside your body - what is wrong, why are you hurting, what systems are involved, where is the body out of balance and what needs to be done to enable your body to heal itself. Using Applied Kinesiology muscle testing we are able to individually evaluate how your body is functioning. Essentially your body is interconnected via the neuro-musculo-skeletal system and the muscle testing allows us to be very specific and customize the treatment to your individual problems and needs.
Treatment includes spinal adjusting, extremity adjusting, cranial adjusting, muscle strengthening and balancing, acupressure and reflexology, nutritional supplements and diet management, exercise therapy and lifestyle management. Dr. Phil and Dr. Rhonda are very passionate when it comes to health care and will take the time to listen to what you have to say, ask a lot of questions, give you a very thorough examination and treatments, and do our best to answer your questions. We are committed to offering great health care so that you can live a healthier and happier life naturally.
